Kohler K-560-VS Bellera Review

Looking For a Faucet with Features? Check Out This Model!

I consider myself a fairly social person (in my line of work, being sociable really helps as I spend my days talking to all kinds of people) and my social circle is pretty large. One of my friends loves all kinds of gadgets, and recently she asked for my advice about getting a new faucet for her kitchen.

I asked her why she wanted to change her faucet. She said that the one she had was lacking in features and kept leaking no matter how often she repaired it. I knew my friend well enough to guess that she preferred appliances with every possible gadget and gizmo included. She also has a taste for high-end products so I naturally thought of the Kohler K-560-VS Bellera pull-down kitchen faucet right away.

She ended up buying one of these on my recommendation, and she couldn’t be happier! That’s why I chose to include it in this collection of reviews. Below, I’ll tell you everything you’ll need to know if you’re deciding whether or not this is the kitchen faucet for you.

Appearance

It’s always been my experience that looks matter when people are shopping for new appliances and tools for the kitchen. In design the details are important, and you won’t be disappointed with Kohler products in this respect. This faucet somehow manages to be classic and modern at the same time, and you’ll quickly see that a lot of thought went into its design.

The curves on the faucet are aesthetically pleasing, and its single lever combines style and function. It is ergonomically designed for easy use even when your hands are wet and soapy. This model comes in a variety of colors, including vibrant stainless steel, polished chrome and oil rubbed bronze, which means you’ll have no trouble finding one that fits your kitchen’s design theme.

Best of All

The features! I’m now a bit envious because my friend has the only pull-down faucet that I know of that has just about every feature available. Many of you are happy as long as your faucet provides you with hot and cold running water, but the design team at Kohler has shown us that a kitchen faucet can be so much more than this.

Firstly, installing this faucet is pretty straightforward. It uses a one-hole or a three-hole installation, plus they include an escutcheon plate with the purchase. If you’ve done any plumbing installations at all, you’ll probably be fine to install this yourself, although my friend decided to go with a professional plumber.

The spout’s high arc lets you fill your biggest pots with ease, and it gives you 360 degrees of rotation for even more convenience. And now for my favorite feature: the faucet head gives you a choice between spray and aerated flow, and there’s even a pause setting. You do have to keep holding down the button on the pause function however – otherwise it will revert back to the flow that you were using before.

This pull-down design features a sturdy nylon hose configured with a ball joint to give you a good range of motion. Rinsing your sink is easy, and you can even fill pots on your countertop with the 26-inch hose. No need to worry if you have pots that are too big to fit in the sink.

The spray face features MasterClean, a surface that resists build-up of minerals, so you’ll have no trouble keeping it clean.

All in all, I had no hesitation in recommending this faucet for my friend. She’s happy that I did, too. I looked there recently and found some really good deals on the price!
